JJ Project Comeback After 5 Years…’Opens Photo Essay Exhibition’

On July 31st, JYP Entertainment released the news “The veil of group JJ Project’s new album ‘Verse 2’ will be lifted today (31st) at noon.”
GOT7’s JB and Jinyoung formed JJ Project releasing their debut single ‘Bounce’ in May 2012, taking their first steps in the music industry. The two boasted of freedom and free-spiritedness from before their debut as the group GOT7 when they were formed as JJ Project. In relation, these two will be coming back after 5 years.
The two were in their teens when they debuted are now in their 20s and as much as they have various changes and growth, they have put in the results of their musical concerns and efforts in their new album. JB and Jinyoung participated in composing and writing lyrics for all the songs, showing off new music while at the same time they presented delicate sensitivity.
The lyrics of the title song ‘Tomorrow, Today’ were co-written by the head of JYP, Park Jinyoung. Combining pop, alternative rock, and hip-hop elements, while lyrical it has a bright sensitivity. There are lyrics about worries, ‘endless possibilities, the time and decisions in which infinitely vulnerable youths face life with worries, choosing one path among two in which you have never walked before’.
The new album ‘Verse 2’ shows the two people’s taste in music with a total of 8 songs of various genres such as pop, hip-hop, ballad, urban pop, tropical pop and soft rock. In addition, JB and Jinyoung’s solo songs ‘The Day’ and ‘Fade Away’ are hidden tracks on the physical album, raising the value of having it in possession.
In addition, the commemoration exhibition of JJ Project’s new album release after 5 years, ‘Today Tomorrow: Photo Exhibition’ is open. This exhibition will be open for 7 days from July 31st to August 6th in Seoul Yongsan-gu Hannam-dong, Bukhan-nam Gallery with free entry.
