[by Bae Jung Yun] A girl group TWICE made an all kill on the music chart with its title song ‘CHEER UP’.
The group released its new song on April 24 at midnight KST. On April 25 at 7am KST, the title song topped eight real time music charts.
On April 25 at 1am KST, the group’s title song topped the MelOn, Genie, NAVER Music, Mnet and Olleh Music. Continually, it also ranked first on Bugs and Soribada around 2am KST. At 7am KST, it is still on the top of the real time music chart.
The outcome of the group’s comeback is very surprising because the group has been a rookie girl group for only six months since its debut.
The group’s title song music video reached 400,000 views only in thirty minutes after it released on YouTube. Its debut song ‘Like OOH-AHH’ recently reached 5,400,000 views. Therefore, whether the group’s new song continues its debut song’s record is receiving people’s attention.
Meanwhile, on April 25 at 8pm KST, TWICE will hold its comeback showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul and perform ‘CHEER UP’ for the first time. The stage will air live through NAVER V App. (photo by JYP Entertainment)
