As you may know, Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook (the music program on KBS that combines a talk show and live music format) just came back in January. I’ve waited for long and cannot hide my excitement.

And here are the top 5 January performances from the program that I really enjoyed and would like to recommend to you guys!

No.5 is Sunmi’s ‘Gashina’. Of course, I’m not going to miss this summer hit of Sunmi. I’m glad that she guested and performed the song at Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook.

No.4 is ‘Days without you’ from Davichi. The ballad duo’s harmonious vocals well portrayed the feelings of missing someone but that person is not going to come back again. The intro is just humming and the melody but it started to make me feel sad already.

Next, No.3

Yoon Jong Shin brought ‘Like it’ to the program. The song was released back in June 2017, but slowly crept up various music charts, eventually hitting the number one spot.

Following that, No.2

Yoon Jong Shin featured the beautiful voice of rookie singer Minseo with ‘Yes’, which is a female version of his massive hit “Like it,” with some of the lyrics changed to be a response to the original track from the woman’s perspective of a couple’s breakup.

And last but not least, No.1

This is a song worth listening to with warm lyrical melodies and profound lyrics about looking back at a past relationship. Most of all, the emotional voice of all 3 members helped it become the song that made many people fall for recently.  Let’s listen to “Good old days’ by Jang Deok Cheol!
