[by Bae Jung Yun] SM Entertainment’s Super Junior Kyuhyun and YG Entertainment’s WINNER Kang Seung Yoon, Song Min Ho and Nam Tae Hyun will compete against each other on JTBC ‘Sugarman’ as representatives of the agencies.
They will appear as ‘Show Man’ to have a hit song battle.
Sandara Park couldn’t hide her excitement about WINNER’s appearance, whom her labelmate, and cheered them by saying, “They are like my little brothers. I am so glad that they appeared in the show.” Compare to WINNER, who appeared with confidence with cheers from its senior, Kyuhyun appeared quietly and disclosed his careful image by saying, “I am having time for self-restraint.” The opposite atmosphere of them made people burst out laughter.
During the filming, Kyuhyun, who is a veteran of the variety program, received a variety program counselling request from WINNER, who is still unfamiliar with the program. WINNER said that it is hard for it to show its talent on the show and asked him to show one of his talents on the scene. MC Yoo Jae Suk requested him to mimic Sung Si Kyung’s singing. Kyuhyun said, “My fans hate it and Sung Si Kyung even ignores it” and carefully asked Yoo Jae Suk to select a song for him. Yoo Jae Suk asked him to sing ‘On The Street’ without hesitation. Kyuhyun added, “You still only love to hear a hit song” and raised the laughter.
Moreover, Song Min Ho gained his confidence from Kyuhyun’s performance and showed off his vocal mimicry of Lee Jung Jae from the movie ‘Assassination’. Kyuhyun replied it with his vocal mimicry of Lee Jung Jae from the movie ‘New World’ and showed his variety master like appearance. For Kyuhyun’s remarkable activities, Yoo Jae Suk said, “Can you do vocal mimicry, when you are having time for self-restraint?”, “Why did you come to the waiting room and said that the only thing you are going to do is singing?” and made people burst out laughing.
Meanwhile, artistic battle and hit song battle between Super Junior Kyuhyun and WINNER can be checked through JTBC ‘Sugarman’ on March 8 at 10:50pm KST. (photo by JTBC)
