Super Junior fulfilled their promise to appear on a home shopping channel to market ‘Black Suits.’
Previously, at their press conference, Super Junior had said, “If we sell 200 thousand copies of our new album ‘PLAY’, we will appear on a home shopping channel and sell ‘Black Suits.'”
On November 16, the album’s sales surpassed 200 thousand copies. To fulfill their promise, SuperJunior appeared on a home shopping channel to sell black padded jackets on November 20, becoming the first idol to appear on a live home shopping program.
Eunhyuk said, “I never knew this would come true. That we’d have to fulfill our promise so quickly. This won’t be easy, but we’ll try out best to sell it.”
Thanks to Super Junior, the black padded jacket was sold out at an unprecedented rate.
