CNBLUE‘s members Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin will enlist on July 31 as active duty soldiers. According to FNC Entertainment, they will not be enlisting in the same place, but they are both going to be on active duty. The time and place will not be revealed since they wished to enlist quietly.
On July 30, Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin posted pictures of themselves with their heads shaved. Min Hyuk wrote, “Three times. When I was in 9th grade. When I was 28. My hair’s short. I’ll be back.” Jung Shin wrote, “Thank you.”
CNBLUE‘s leader, Jung Yong Hwa, enlisted as an active duty soldier in March and is currently serving in the army.
According to multiple sources, Lee Jong Hyun is also waiting to enlist in August. On July 29, he wrote on his Instagram, “People have been sending me a lot of gifts and telling me to return safely from the military. I’ve gained weight, so I’ll get back into shape before going.”
It seems that the members are trying to keep their promise to the fans to minimize their hiatus as a group. We will not be able to see CNBLUE as a group for at least 2 years. Good luck!
