Boy Group History Reenters into Oricon Chart with Its Second Single

[by Kim Young Shin] Five-membered boy group History got back on Japan’s Oricon Chart.

The group’s second single album ‘LOST’, which was released on December 23, reentered into Oricon Daily Single Chart and ranked second.

Last month, the album scored third on the same chart right after its release. This time, it jumped up a rank, which shows the continuous popularity of the group among the local fans.

Last year, History debuted with Japanese version of its single ‘Might Just Die’, which also scored second when it was released and got back up to the second place of Oricon Daily Chart after a month of its issue.

Previously, the group topped the weekly single chart for every store of Tower Records on January 4, ranked 6th on Oricon CD Single Chart and 5th on ‘Top Singles Sales’ of Billboard Japan.

The enthusiastic responses to History’s two singles show the group’s potential as the next Hallyu idol.

Meanwhile, History successfully held its concert ‘HISTORY 2016 HAPPY NEW YEAR SPECIAL LIVE’ at Mt. Rainier Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The group will continue active performances this year. (photo by LOEN TREE)
