Big Bang’s Popularity In Japan Will Never Cease

[by Ent Team] Big Bang was awarded a special award during Japan’s Record Awards.

On November 18, Big Bang won a prize at the ‘58th Japan Record Awards. It’s not the first time that the group actually gets rewarded by the ceremony: in 2009 and in 2010 too, the hip-hop crew of Hallyu had proved its popularity oversea.

This year, Big Bang wasn’t the only YG Entertainment artist to strengthen success in Japan. IKON, a younger group, was also appointed Newcomer of the Year. The company is giant in the industry of Kpop worldwide, and proves it at every occasion.

The Record Awards ceremony is an annual night that rewards and congratulates producers, singers, groups and albums. It will air on December 30 on TBS.
